FSC CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE PAPERS AND PRINTING
We are proud of our Certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) enabling us to supply sustainable printing options to our clients. This also means you may add the FSC and/or other qualifying logos to your printed projects to let everyone know about your commitment to a greener environment.
We strive to lessen our environmental footprint every day at Morel Ink. Our digital press has little measurable volatile-organic-compound (VOC) emissions. Our offset equipment utilizes low-VOC soy-based inks and solvents whenever possible. We also recycle waste paper and other materials in all of our production areas.
Our Ultra Violet Coater (which provides a shiny surface to printed projects) uses vegetable-based varnish and is an extremely environmentally-friendly process. Even with UV coating, your finished product remains recyclable. UV is more environmentally benevolent than lamination which is plastic-based, not recyclable, and has many pollution hazards involved its initial production.
